I Think That I Am In Love with Mary-Louise Parker

There is a Newsradio marathon on Nick-at-Nite right now, man that is a good show. I guess I am going to have to sleep at work tomorrow because there is no way that I am sleeping tonight. I played in a Warhammer 40k 12 person battle on Sunday, each person only had 500 points, it was split up 6 on 6 and the game lasted for over 4 hours. If you have ever played 40k you should really try a battle of that size and if you don't, I recommend it what a great game. So I found out yesterday that the girl at the gym that I was stalking works at the bank's drive through, next to my office. What are the odds, now I can stare at her from the comfort of my desk. How convenient for me huh? I ate at Skoots and Hooters this weekend and I have to say that Skoots won hands down on both food and waiting staff. That's all for now, there will be more incoherent babble on my next installment.

Great stuff, Q. Which one is Parker? 6 on 6 battle, eh? Sounds like good times. Back in college, Dagromm, Gyuss, and I participated in a 3 on 3 battle but each person had about 1000 points so I think it worked out to about the same size of battle. Only it was a Warhammer Fantasy game. I'd much prefer to try it in 40k now.

Yeah, that was probably alot of fun with fantasy. I always enjoyed it with multiple people per side. I played it once 3 on 3 on a 2.5 foot by 3 foot board, we were on each other very quick with cavalry and what not. Playing chaos I was ok with it. My opponent directly across from me played an illegal dogs of war army, it was awesome, I got pounded from every different type of artillery possible. Man with the new warhammer 40k rules 500 points is alot. I got a demon prince, 2 5 man squads with a heavy bolter in one and a lascannon in the other, and a defiler.

Parker is a fantastic example of the "older sister next door" I wish had taken me under her wing. Such a bad girl in an impish package.

I miss the tabletop gaming. Its only fun with the right people, and I've never found them around here.

So Dogs of War have a 40k equivelent?

I was googling and found the fantasy versions. Looks like a fun bunch to paint.

No sorry that was a fantasy game.

Thats the plan, do e have an idea what is going to be going on?

I have no clue. Its the kind of thing I reckon we can figure out on the fly.

what about Heroclix or something in that vein?

Cool, I can play my Galactus!

Or We could play Warhammer 40k. between Dave and I we certainly have enough Armies.

I talked to James. As of last night he is coming. I told him to bring some 40k just in case. I also have enough Heroclix for all 5 of us to have a decent force to field.

I talked to Joel also about the day. My morning is going to be a little last minute but I think the idea is that the day is spent doing fun simple games like Dilbert, Titan the Arena, and Rocketville. Something that we can do while we have to semi-watch children. After I can take Ethan home, the evening would be dedicated to a bigger more in-depth game. It likely means we will have to choose between 40k or Blood Royale. FYI - in case you didn't pick up on it, Joel and I were hoping Gyuss could bring his Dilbert game and Q could bring Rocketville (and any other fun game you want to trot out)

I can bring blood royal or diplomacy because with 5 people either of those would be a blast. How much time will you have CyberD? I assume Gyuss, Dagromm, James and myself have as much as needed. Or 40k would be nice, let me know though so that I will bring mine. If ya'll don't think we will play 40k let me know because that is alot of Ess to load up (board, terrain, armies , etc.). Much like I tell the guys that I counsel at the prison, I am up for anything so just let me know what I need to bring.

Just don't forget to bring Rocketville. You know that game you showed me when last up at your place. If I had to guess I would say we will play Blood Royale so bring that without a doubt. As far as warhammer is concerned... I think somebody should talk to somebody tonight. Newland is bringing up his stuff b/c I told him to. I'll likely pack mine. I'd hate for you to bring it and not use it... but I don't know. I anticipate getting to Joel's around 10am... long story as to why I can't get there sooner. I will stay until about 2pm or 3pm. I then take my son home and come back around 5pm and will likely stay until 11pm or midnight.

So from that we can extrapolate how much gaming can be done. If it is a choice between BR and 40k... I'd almost choose 40k because we all haven't gotten together in so long... I don't know.

PANIC!
