Today is Tuesday and I'll blog if I want to...

I enjoyed the MLK holiday yesterday, I hope everyone else did too. Dagromm and I had good time Madden '07 fun over the weekend. Since, getting my x-box 360 I haven't really been able to enjoy x-box live until now. I think you have to know someone that has a 360 to have the real fun on there, I mean I have played people on there and had my ass handed to me, but getting to play someone I know tops all of the fun time good fun I had before.

So Dagromm and I split our 10 game series, with him playing the Miami Dolphins the most and my teams changing every time. The best game was the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the Carolina Panthers, the Eagles won on a last second TD after Jake Delhomme was intercepted on the 40 and that was returned to the 10, B-Dub was money from that spot. I had one final play, but Jake was picked off again and that ended the game. We played until 4 in the morning on Sunday and then again Sunday night. What a good weekend of doing nothing!

I almost forgot, the West Coast offense is stupid awful. The plays make no sense. There is no hail mary! That is like the first football play you learn, if your catholic right? I was searching and searching for it, it was not there in the west coast offensive scheme. Therefore West Coast Offense = Complete Ass.

Outside Watching,

Fringes,

Since there is no Grand Theft Auto on the Xbox 360, I can't support it as a proper system for an impressionable child.

Without Grand Theft Auto, how will he ever learn to drive?

He has Hit n' Run, the Simpson's version of Grand Theft Auto. We have no idea how it works. Moms are terrible video game figure-outers. So for now, he is addicted to Lego Star Wars II.

Lego Star Wars II truly is awesome. I just sent to Dagromm's son last month.

I like the 360 better than I ever did my ps2, but I also played my x-box more than I did the ps2. I actually let the family of Dagromm use my ps2 after I got the x-box because it was going unplayed at my house.
The graphics are better on the 360 and now that you have an hd tv you can get some use of them, fringes. The main drawbacks are that there are certain companies that only release games on the ps2, this is a minor one for me since there are countless games that I have yet to play on 360 (I have had it since its release). Since he is only 5 I think you are safe sticking with the ps2 for a few more years with him, but the fringes/q love affair could mean that he would get to play with all kinds of cool new electronics. That has to be a few bonus points for the Q.

graphics - 360, 1080i resolution that is very good for us HD'ers

games - ps2 just for shear number out there

gameplay - 360, x-box live has to be the coolest thing ever. I can play Dagromm at Madden '07 when he lives in Dallas and I am 60 miles away. That is Nice! Plus you can download and play great classics like dig dug and contra on x-box live!

Controllers - 360, out of the box wireless controllers with virtually no setup this is a fantastic feature.

I hope this helps ya fringes.

Yours always,
Q

Sorry there is not a past post that explains the circle, but here is an explanation as well as I can give it...

Gyuss and CyberD were roommates in college.

Dagromm lived in the same dormitory that both gyuss and cyberd roomed together in.

I went to the same college that they all are alums of, four years after they graduated, and where cyberd worked at the time.

Dagromm ran a comic book shop that I would hang out in, and that is where I met cyberd. CyberD and I had similar interests as did Dagromm and I, and since Dagromm and CyberD were already friends we all would kind of hang out at the comic shop. Eventually this blossomed into what we have now, in which they are two of my best-est friends.

I did not really know Gyuss until about 7 months ago when he came up to Dagromm's house for a visit, though I briefly met him when I was a senior in college. He and I are both in the IT industry so we tend to have similar interests and just kind of clicked during the time I spent hanging out with him then. We were also brothers in arms during the great blogwar of '06.

I hope this helps give you an idea of how we all know each other.

I can't wait for the love affair to begin.

Love,
Q

Magnificent, I don't like to assume things anymore. After my last assumption I ended up naked and in jail, believe me it is not as much fun as it sounds.

Q... what a great summary of the greatest quartet of all time! Except for the part about me being completely bad-ass awesome! You left that out.

Regarding the post (keep in mind I actually comment on the subject matter in your post unlike the horrible treatment you give my blog) I can't wait to get into video games again. I've only ever operated on the fringe of that industry but with two year old son and another son on the way, it's only a matter of time!

I can't wait to come over and have some video game fun with lil' CyberD, lil' Magnum and lil' Higgins. We could play some Mortal Kombat or Leasure Suit Larry, ahh good times...
